Spaces and sub-spaces
Organise people into spaces — the whole company, a department, a project. Policies set at the top are inherited below.
CallSec App
One app for voice and video calls, messages, files and location — end-to-end encrypted, managed by your organisation, on Android and iPhone — and on Windows and macOS on request.
Communication
One-to-one and group calls (up to four people), end-to-end encrypted. By default they go through our relay, so the other side never sees your IP address — and your administrator can make that mandatory.
Chats and group conversations with files, photos, voice messages and location sharing — end-to-end encrypted by default.
Accounts are not tied to a phone number or SIM. CallSec does not call ordinary phone numbers — it connects CallSec users.
Messages delete themselves after a set time — counted from sending or, in one-to-one chats, from the moment they are read.
Invite someone with a personal link or QR code; opening it in CallSec starts the conversation.
Add another phone by QR code, or a computer with a link. Additional devices are approved from a device you already use, and any device can be removed remotely.
Protection on the phone
Phones get lost, borrowed and infected. CallSec assumes that and protects what is inside the app. Some protections depend on the platform; Android allows the most.
PIN, pattern or biometrics, automatic lock and session time-out, limited unlock attempts.
A separate PIN or pattern that, entered on the CallSec lock screen, wipes the app's data.
Refuses to run on rooted or jailbroken phones and warns about USB debugging and developer options (Android). Optional checks warn about screen recording, overlays and suspicious mobile base stations.
Screenshots blocked, the app blurred in the task switcher, private notifications and an incognito keyboard.
The local database is encrypted, text copied from CallSec is cleared from the clipboard when the session ends, and the app's data is excluded from cloud backups.
The app checks that it has not been modified and refuses to run if it has.
For administrators
CallSec is run for an organisation, not for an anonymous crowd. Administrators manage it from a web console.

Decide which settings users may change, lock names and pictures, and keep message retention under control.
Remote wipe and a dead man's switch remove the data from devices that should no longer have it.
